nutritional advice for gout patients

There is a group of food that should be omitted from the diet of gout patient which are:

From fish: anchovy - herring - sardines - oysters and other shellfish

From meat: animal organs (liver, heart, brain, spleen, kidneys, etc.)

From poultry: geese - concentrated soups for birds

There is another group of food that should be taken with limited amount:

Meat, poultry, and fish (except for those mentioned in the first group) take about 60 to 90 grams per day

Vegetables: asparagus, beans (dried), lentils, mushrooms, peas (dried), spinach; one cup is allowed daily

Fluid intake (3 L / day) should be encouraged to help excrete uric acid and reduce the possibility of kidney stones

You should not drink alcohol

It is preferred to drink coffee in moderation and increase vitamin C in food, as they have a good effect in improving symptoms of gout
