To get the most out of your evening workouts, try incorporating a mix of cardio and strength training exercises into your routine. Aim to work out for at least 30 minutes to an hour, and be sure to stretch before and after your session.

An evening workout uses less oxygen, making workouts more efficient and improving athletic performance. In other words, an athletic will be able to run for a longer duration in the evening compared to the morning under the same running conditions.

 

Exercising during the day in Ramadan may cause dehydration, hypotension, and hypoglycemia

 

Advantages of evening workouts, after Iftar in Ramadan

  • Stimulate metabolism (burning reactions in the body), because it is known that these reactions decrease in the evening
  • Eliminate extra calories at iftar meal , before they turn into body fat
  • The ability to increase the duration and intensity of workouts, due to the presence of excess calories from breakfast and less oxygen usage, which leads to better results for the body
  • Avoiding the problems of dehydration, hypoglycemia and low blood pressure at fasting interval, and the ability to treat them quickly by drinking water or some healthy foods.

 

The fact that exercise is healthier after breakfast is also pointed out by the fact that Tarawih prayer (including physical exertion) is performed after the evening prayer (not during the day time in Ramadan)
